The 2014 race season is right around the corner!

Evy is the top Junior and wins bronze overall at the 2013 US Nationals at Nantahala Outdoor Center. This race also served as a team selection race for the 2014 Junior and U23 World Championships in Sydney, Australia, where Evy will compete as boat #1 in her class for the USA.

During a tough weekend in Krakow, Evy makes the finals but finishes down the ranks at Juniuor Cup race #2. Ethan remained in Liptovsky-Mikulas, training with the U23 Team.

Evy wins Bronze and Ethan makes the finals for a 5th-place finish at Juniuor Cup race #1, Solkan, Slovenia.
Ethan was disappointed that he didn't make the podium, but he had a productive weekend with run times reflecting competence on the water.
On to Liptovsky-Mikulas, Slovakia for a few training days, then to Krakow for race #2!

Evy and Ethan arrive in safely in Munich with all their gear. On to Solkan, Slovenia for training, and race #1.

Evy wins silver at U.S. Junior Trials and will travel to the Junior/U23 World Championships in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia. Ethan will also paddle in the U23 class. Both will also paddle at 2-3 other races while in Europe.

Ethan's 19th Birthday today!

After 3 days of racing at U.S. Senior Trials, Evy takes Bronze, securing a slot at the Senior World Championships in Prague as a Junior paddler.
Ethan got reacquainted with big water after a long college freshman year. Though he finished in the pack, he enjoyed the weekend's competition and is first U23 alternate for the Jr/U23 Worlds. Evy appreciated his guidance in helping develop a game plan and focus for her runs.

Evy finishes 2nd Junior in each day of the Dickerson Elite Slalom.

Evy is the fastest woman of the race and 3rd overall, among all emn's and women's classes at the Kish Creek Slalom.

Doing some fine paddling in the cold rain, Evy placed 1st in-class (3rd overall) in K1W, and Ethan finished 4th in-class (5th overall) in K1M at the US Open.

The 2013 season has begun! Evy and Ethan race this weekend in the Bank of America US Open at the Nantahala Outdoor Center near Bryson City, NC.
